Most of your daily driver cars and trucks go with the traditional automatic transmission, but some do prefer having a manual transmission for personal reasons. Cars used for racing tend to have manual tansmissions due to shift points and certain other racing specifics. A few racing autos used automatic transmissions, but that requires a racing transmission, such as the turbo 400.
